Discover the wines of La Loire
A not-to-be-missed festival in Chartres, “La Paulée des Vins de Loire” is a true opportunity of immersion into the atmosphere of wines from La Loire. Born from two lovers of La Loire wines, oenologist Jacques Puisais and hotelier-restaurateur Georges Jallerat, the very first “Paulée des Vins de Loire” was held in 1983.
From the original ambition of offering a friendly and gourmet stopover to winegrowers on their way back home from the Paris International Agricultural Show, it has, it has turned into a not-to-be-missed event for wine professionals.
High gastronomy, hospitality and sharing are traditions that Geneviève and Georges Jallerat’s transmitted to the new managing generation, Nathalie and Bertrand, alongside chef Thomas Parnaud who has been running the one-star Michelin restaurant, Le Georges for 4 years. La Paulée has also been a winegrowers' market for the general public for 19 years.
